About Steps to Stockholm
I’ve been a casual runner for the past 8 years. In November 2008 I thought to myself, you know, I could be a much better runner, if I put more thought and effort into my running. That’s where this blog enters.
I’m training for the 2009 Stockholm Marathon and I’m going to blog about my training. Everyday you can expect to see a post about a run, weight training session, what I’m eating, or how I’m organizing my time so that I can fit training in during a busy work schedule.
I live in Cambridge, England with my husband. He is in his final year of a PhD program and I work for the University. We are both Americans, but have lived in England for the last 4.5 years for him and 3 years for me.
My ipod is a must have when I run. I really enjoy Bluegrass music. Most of my running playlists include the Seldom Scene, Infamous Stringdusters, Crooked Still, the Punch Brothers, or Uncle Earl. I’m a Christian and listen to music by Sandra McCracken, Red Mountain Church, and Waterdeep when I run. I also like to listen to sermons by John Piper and Mark Driscoll.
